Apollo Foosball Table

What is the difference between counterweighted and non-counterweighted players?

  • A counterweighted player has a steel weight in the head, making the head and foot equally balanced.  The player can set the foos men parallel to the playfield and leave them suspended while shooting, clearing the field for the shot to the opponents goal.
  • A non-counterweighted player has a heavier foot, so it will drop down if not held in position and thus obstruct a shot if not manually held upright.
